We are so excited to have acquired Mile High Peruvian Ambrielle into our program of elite alpacas.
Ambrielle displays all of the phenomenal traits of her sire, El Nino's Golden Legend and Dam, Mile High Peruvian Kusi. Her crimp style, density, fineness and beautiful color create fleece that is just to die for. Her excellent fleece and conformation have generated accolades from judges and producers alike.
Ambrielle's first appearance in the show ring was at TxOLAN 2009 where she was awareded the Blue and Color Championship ribbons. She when on to 2009 Futurity and was awarded the Blue in her class. She has been one of 3 progeny to allow Golden Legend to be recognized in Get A Sire competitions.
Mile High Peruvian Ambrielle will finish her show ring career in 2010 and then be bred to Eight Time Champion, Accoyo America Marathon at Alpacas of the Ark.

Mile High Victoria’s Secret says “Move over runway girls”. Rich mahogany color, outstanding conformation, fine, dense fleece and a beautiful uniform crimp from tip to skin are just a few traits that have allowed Victoria’s Secret to experience the show ring success that her dam,Mile High Peruvian Hannah Bay, a 3-time color champion and her sire, the renowned El Nino’s Golden Legend, had set for their progeny to follow.
El Nino’s Golden Legend is perhaps one of the most striking males that any breeder will encounter.
In 2009, this beautiful female has introduced us to the show ring with blue ribbons, color and reserve championships in every show she has been entered.
Watch for this beautiful female in 2010 show ring before she is bred in June 2010 to Mile High Bandimere.

Diamond Dust is as her name indicates, a brilliant white diamond with wonderful brightness and crimp. She is the 3rd of 5 full siblings generated by the matching of Presidio and Peruvian Snowmass Sonata (Hemingway Line).
Presidio is perhaps the finest-producing son of Accoyo Caligula, and his dam, 3Peruvian Senna, is a fawn from the Sollocata region of Peru. He has 7 "Get of Sire" wins to his credit & was 2nd in "Get of Sire" at the 2004 National Show, in what Judge Mike Safely called the "best Get of Sire class" he'd ever judged.
Diamond Dust carries a fleece that combines deep amplitude crimp, incomparable brightness, density and staple length on a body comprised of heavy bone, correct structure and perfect bite. We are looking for Diamond Dust to provide an excellent foundation of our light-colored fleece and offspring.
Xanadu’s Diamond Dust is co-owned with Jerry & Jeri Johnson, Sand Creek Criations of Bennett, CO where she currently resides.

Chiaroscuro is a beautiful rose grey lady whose fleece is exceptionally fine and bright throughout her blanket. Integrate these fleece attributes with skin to tip crimp and character on top of a conformationally correct structure and you can envision the beautiful alpaca that Chiaroscuro represents. Her name means light and dark in Italian, which is a perfect way of describing her appearance.
Chiara's sire is 5 time color champion rose grey, Rayo's Roso e Grigio, a son of Rayo del Sol and an Accoyo Legacy mom. Her mom Daisy May is a maroon foundation mom from Xanadu Farm Alpacas who has several grey show ring stars. This championship background was a foundation for Chiara to also be awarded two color championships herself.
What a thrill it was for us to find Chiara. We desired a beautiful rose grey female with fineness, density and structure as part of our foundation and she was a perfect match. Xanadu Chiaroscuro was bred to MFI Toledo and provided us with a beautiful rose grey male in November 2009. Our prayers for a spitting image of Chiara in her beautiful grey package were answered. We are anxiously a waiting the day when Chimera’s Orion Grey will be old enough to make his way into the show ring.
Chiara, or ‘Chi-Chi’ as she is affectionately called, was rebred to Aladdin of KPR for a fall 2010 cria. Aladdin was selected with his beautiful black coloration and silky soft fiber, excellent crimp and confirmation. This should be another amazing cria! Chi-Chi and her boy Orion Grey, live a great life at Sand Creek Criations.

Evensong is a beautiful true black, with dense bright crimpy fleece and a very sweet personality. She is the daughter of the beautiful silver grey dam Patagonia’s Magenta and sire Strider, a true black male with density, crimp and character that represents outstanding uniform fleece.
Evensong was bred to MFI Toledo, an exceptional silver grey. With the strong black and grey genetics our hope to have these characteristics passed on to her cria came true. We were blessed with the first female born at Chimera Ranch in Oct 2009, and we named her Chimera’s Tehya, which means precious, as she is very precious to us. We are still determining whether she will be true black like her mother or a dark gray as she has the gray cast when in the bright sunlight. Either way we are very excited to have her join our herd.
Xanadu Evensong has been rebred to EastWind’s Snowstorm for a fall 2010 birth. EastWind’s Snowstorm should provide additional fineness and has a history of passing on the color of the dam, so we are hoping for an extremely fine, dark colored cria in the fall of 2010.
