Where Excellence in Fleece and Conformation is a Life Style
Awarded 2010 Reserve Small Breeders of the Year

Mile High
Mile High Victoria’s Secret says “Move over runway girls”. Rich mahogany color, outstanding conformation, fine, dense fleece and a beautiful uniform crimp from tip to skin are just a few traits that have allowed Victoria’s Secret to experience the show ring success that her dam,Mile High Peruvian Hannah Bay, a 3-time color champion and her sire, the renowned El Nino’s Golden Legend, had set for their progeny to follow.
El Nino’s Golden Legend is perhaps one of the most striking males that any breeder will encounter.
This beautiful female has introduced us to the show ring competition with memories that we will never forget.
Watch as this beautiful female finishes her 2010 show career at GWAS 2010, before she is bred in June 2010 to Mile High Bandimere. This combination of genetics has us sleepless at night as we envision the cria that will be delivered in 2011.
Mile High Victoria's Secret makes her home at the beautiful Sand Creek Criations Spa and Resort. Give them a call and schedule a visit to put your eyes and hands on this magnificent girl.

LBA’S Atalia.
When she entered the ring, all we could do was say WOW. A dark fawn, Sandra’s favorite color, perfect conformation and phenotype and fleece everywhere. A calendar girl if there ever was one. After the judge properly evaluated all of the 15 entries, Atalia was awarded the blue ribbon, and our journey to learn more about her began.
Atalia, is the daughter of none other than the great sire, KIRWIN. He is a stunning male with great genetics and wonderful progeny. Kirwin also graced the show ring with is outstanding presence and fleece, racking up several color and reserve color banners along his way to Honeymoon lane at Crescent Moon Ranch.
Her Mother, Crescent Moon’s Abbey, is very fine fleeced lady and the mother of several ribbon winning offspring.
Atalia carries the white fleece characteristics of her mother, fineness, structure, soft to the hand and then adds the color provided by Kirwin. When you open her dense fleece, you see a field of wheat ready to be harvested. Individual bundles of tightly woven fleece with this shining brightness that is incredibly soft to the handle.
Atalia has had a short show career, but has done well in all of her appearences.
She will be on the road in 2010-2011 competing and then will become part of our foundation herd. Her service sire is still being defined, but Crescent Moon’s Gear Jammer is the current leader of the evaluation.

Dundee 's Etta of Adrenalin,
Daughter of Champions!
We were looking to add a bred female to our herd to round out our foundation. In reviewing the fleece samples we had acquired we recalled one sample where we had not actually been able to put our hands on the alpaca as she was on her maiden breeding voyage. We made plans to revisit Sara Jane and Hugh Maclennan at Dundee Farms and take a look at Etta. We are so thankful that we did.
Just one look tells you that this daughter of champions is a solid, stunning young female. She is structurally solid, perfect bite, proportions, dense bones, and straight legs. When you put your hands in her light fawn fleece you have to admire its length and the palpable architecture throughout. What your hands really appreciate is the fineness and the consistency of fineness throughout. When you consider her heritage, one could assume that such wonderful traits should not be uncommon.
Her mother Clementine is an eye catching, robust female, who not only was a Reserve Champion, but also Best Bred and Owned. Her sire is none other than Aztec Adrenalin, who is a multiple champion, a two time Get of Sire, and proving to be a very predictable breeder of quality producing 3 champions out of 5 crias. Her Great Grand Grandmother PPPeruvian Snappy, is one of the best females in Canada and her great grandfather, PPeruvian Victor has graced many progeny with his signature fleece structure.
So take these great genetics and imagine integrating them with ESCONDIDO'S MAKULU: 5 time champion EL NINO son. This 3/4 Accoyo herdsire's fantastic genetics are the foundation for this incredible fleece with a micron count of 16.8 at nearly two years old. In 2008, he produced 13.5 lbs of fleece. Makulu has taken FOUR Championships, THREE Reserve Championships, and 14 First Place ribbons - his crias are also taking championships.
Peruvian Legacy and Peruvian Caligula are Makulu’s grandfathers. El Nino’s cria are marvelous. Add to this from Etta's pedigree that includes Adrenalin, Victor's Vaccoyo, Drambuie, Snowmass Angel, and Snappy - one of the best dams in Canada. THIS IS A SPECTACULAR MATCH and we having anxiety attacks dreaming about the potential for this cria. It isn’t often that one may hope for a boy, but what a boy he could be. If it is a girl, we will be anxious for her to mature so that we can breed her to Mile High Peruvian Carlton Ritz in 2012.
Etta should deliver this remarkable cria in Aug 2010 and will be rebred to ZAMBONI of Artic Ice, a phenomenal young male at Dundee Farms.
